Wordless Wednesday - Goodbye Sochi

Its another Wordless Wednesday because I haven't been working out and I am studying my butt off for a test I have to take. Spring is almost here, the races will be starting again, and I'm in totally crap shape.

On a related note, I'm aware that I'm clearly violating the whole idea of "wordless" Wednesday with all my comments, but I'm doing it anyway because I'm tired and I feel like it.

Sochi
 - a little weird and awkward at first -

 - And so much warmer than we were expecting -

Goodbye Sochi,
I can hardly wait for the next Olympics.
I wonder what Spring will bring us in 2 more years?

  1. The fourth image up of the oriental girl eerily enough has a similar body image to me. That's either a good thing or most worrying.

The fourth image down screams Edward Snowden to be given a Congressional pardon.

    1. MoviesOnMyMind, I was a bit put off by the pose our Asian hockey goalie is in, too. It makes her look strange. Surely the photographer could have done better than that with a sleek hot young female athlete. As for Edward Snowden, well, I don't know about that pardon bit, but I suppose if Putin tells Obama to do it then it'll be done. But I can't see Putin's motivation. Does Congress also issue pardons?

    2. AlleyCat, I watched a ton of curling and I totally don't get it either. It's like they're just making it up as they go. I just don't get the rules at all - how you score, any of it. But the Russian women's team was all young and hot and that made it so much more interesting. :-)

Thank you, I have to score incredibly high just to pass, and this is not anything to do with what I do so I don't know this stuff.

    4. AlleyCat, I just got off the phone with someone at the company who also had to take and pass this exam. They said one guy they worked with took it 4 times before he scored high enough to pass. 4 times! I don't want that to be me.
